Welcome to HHYFC

HHYFC is a large and successful youth football club centrally located in South Oxfordshire aiming to provide the best coaching, club and team management in the surrounding counties, consistently achieving high standards of results in line with our goals and objectives.

The club is affiliated to the Berks and Bucks FA and we field teams in the Oxford Mail Youth Football and Oxford Mail Girls Leagues. The youngest boys and girls from the age of 3 join the HHYFC Soccer School on a Saturday morning.

FA Charter Standard ClubOur single limitation is getting more people to become involved whether children or adults. The children create the Soccer School and the teams and the adults give up their time for theirs and other people’s children.

Whether you are a club member or a visitor we hope you enjoy browsing the website and find it both fun and informative.

 Season 2015/16

HHYFC Chairman Paul LilleyThis season, our twelfth, we have eleven teams playing in HHYFC shirts: from under 8’s through to under 16’s.  The strength of the club is very evident now in the younger age

groups – right where we want it with new under 8’s teams starting each season. I believe this is a great complement to Richard Frost and the Soccer School and our excellent team managers and coaches.

Our teams are lucky enough to play on four excellent sites all within a short distance of each other. We have three teams playing at the Harwell Oxford Science, Innovation and Business campus benefiting from their excellent facilities. We have 6 teams playing at Harwell Recreation Ground at Harwell Village and one team plus the Soccer School at East Hendred Sports Ground in East Hendred Village. We also have two of our younger teams playing at Harwell school.  Access to all these facilities affords the club such opportunity and flexibility and for this we are all very grateful.

We are all looking forward to the challenges ahead. Our team managers and coaches headaches have certainly begun!! They will be wrestling with the fine lines between trying to win, trying to play good football, ensuring the boys
and girls are happy and having fun. These are passionate people always questioning what they are doing, striving to improve the quality of their coaching and management of their team. Please offer whatever support you can - it is appreciated.

Paul Lilley
